GJL Designs Pollinator Garden with Rye High School Students at Wainwright House

A new garden is on display at the Wainwright House entrance in Rye, NY. The project was spearheaded by Delia Bajuk, a Rye High School junior  and president of the RHS environmental club, who took an interest in supporting pollinators and biodiversity locally. Why No Mow May is Not Doing Enough for Pollinators

In at least five states in the country, a movement to protect native bees by refraining from mowing lawns for the month of May is gaining momentum. The movement started in Britain in 2019, and in Wisconsin in 2020.
