We encourage our clients to be choosy with the areas they decide to maintain as lawn.
Some of the least functional lawn space is right at the border of the front yard, next to the road. For this Rye, NY property, we added strategic border beds along the road and driveway corner, creating curb appeal and hiding the view of the asphalt from the house. This planting design blends traditional with natural, achieving a tidy aesthetic while still contributing toward ecosystem function.
Jay and team were fantastic to work with. We had some rough ideas of what we wanted, but knew very little about plants and landscaping design. Jay helped us through brainstorming phase into design, through execution, and has continued to help as we watch everything grow and bloom. He has clear passion for his craft, and it comes through in his work that Jay is having fun bringing these projects to life.
